About Me

From my home in Western New York, I have opportunities to view both nature and people and to follow my passions for crafting, photography, reading, and learning guitar

My novels Walking Through The Mist, Crossing The Lough Between, and Playing Each Other Home, take readers on imaginary travels to Ireland and Northern Ireland, while my novel The Space Between Notes takes readers in another direction. My poetry collections, Fragility and A Song Of Ireland, and the 60 poems found following the fictional portion of The Space Between Notes contain reflections that speak to the hearts of humans around the globe.

My favorite quote is “dream no small dreams; they have no magic to stir men’s souls”  (anonymous). I hope my passion and drive to follow my dreams encourages you to follow your own.

I’m so happy to be the first one to write here. There are no words to tell how much of an inspiration you are to women, …well…ANYONE! People, find your dream…then follow it, through thick and thin….Sinead…I couldn’t be prouder if you were my own kid. or sister…but you are my heart sister, right? God bless in all you do. Dreams….they’re not just for sleeping…they’re for realizing.

SOOOOO proud of you! It has been so exciting watching you reach for this dream & to finally see it has come true! Way to go! I know that sometimes you felt like you wanted to give up….but you kept on pushing forward & now look…you are a published author! And yes-this IS just the beginning! You have many more books in your future-many more stories to tell! So we’d better get our butts back to Ireland….for research purposes of course!!! 😀 You grab your notebook & I’ll get the duct tape! HA! I’m NEVER gonna let you live THAT one down! Maybe you could include THAT story in your next book!

    • Not the duct tape!! Noooooo!! Actually it was electric tape – and I still can’t believe you had to miss that moment! I was so very glad you were along for the research – that was a trip of a lifetime. Yep, time to get moving on my next project! And you, girl, have so much talent yourself, and it is exciting to see how you are advancing towards your goals as well! Love ya!

Life begins when we step outside our comfort zone. I’m so glad you finally got comfortable with being uncomfortable. The possibilities are endless…
